What are you doing this summer?

Do you already have a job lined up? Do you know of a special opportunity that you would like to share with your classmates? Boston has a great variety of jobs, camps, internships, and other things for middle schoolers to do in the summer. What are you doing?

    Summer jobs are fun because you get paid for having fun. Last year I worked at the Boy’s n Girl’s club. All I did was watch little kids and clean up and serve them breakfast and lunch. Subsequently each Thursday & Tuesday we go on a field trip [Water Country, Six Flag & Coco Keys] and they rewarded us every two weeks. The job starts at 8am and ends at 4pm. Every day I had an exciting summer previous year. I imagine this year I’m going to try to work at Boy’s n Girl’s club for a second time.

    Alvin Ailey Dance Camp is offering free camp for young people like yourselves who want to learn about different dance styles. See Ms. Colon for an application, but hurry, there is a deadline!

    I am going to be at a teen center on bowdin street. They do a lot of activities and they take trips and I cant wait !

    summer jobs can be good for people because jobs can teach people to become independent

    Over the summer I always go to camp both day and over night camp. this summer I might be starting this progrem at Northestern that is based on math.

    my steppingstone advisor gave me a list of jobs and things to do this summer. i will try to sign up for the Alvin Ailey Camp, but if thatdoesn't work for me I would sign up for other things to do in the summer.

    For Summer i might go to Puerto Rico to vist my grandma and grandpa i like going there because i get go to the beach mostly everyday :)

    I MIGHT GO TO PHILLY THIS SUMMER. WHEN I GO THERE WE MIGHT GO TO 6 FLAGS FOR MY B-DAY. SO HAPPY BUT THEN THE REST OF THE SUMMER IM SLEEP LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    To tell you the truth, i really don't know what I'm going to do this summer yet. i thought i was going to Ailey Dance camp but it turns out it was too late for me to turn in my application.
