I loved it!!!! Why not give it a try yourself. How would you change the words to a contemporary song to go along with a school message?

A Spin on Beyonce's Single Lady
As I was driving home today after school, I heard a song that a sixth grade class (in another city) wrote. It was a spinoff of Beyonce's Grammy Award single song, Single Lady. They changed the title to Scholar Lady. It went like this, "If you learned it than you should have got an A on it." "If you learned it than you should have got an A on it." oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh

ReplyDeleteLaugh out loud that's kind of funny, but smart. I don't think I can change the words though laugh out load.
ReplyDeleteI that is a great project that we can do in class. We can have a contest to see who can have the most educational and fun lyrics.
ReplyDeleteI think that this was a very good educational wise. To turn a pop music song to a learning song that focuses on studying to get the better grade.
ReplyDeleteI think that this will be awesome to do in class. So we can maybe have like a prize for the best, not only for our class (315) ,but for the other classes as well.I think that one of those specific songs could some how let us remember something that we have a problem on.It could possibly help us on the MCAS.I would do a song by Drake named,"Successful."It will go a little like this,"Im going to school be,Im going to be school,Im going to school to be successful."
ReplyDeleteMs. B Williams good morning Jalissa's uncle. Reading blog I had a song that came to mind by Key's & Jay Z. We can call it Education Anthem "Were from Timilty, let these books inspire you, theres nothing we can't do your future is brand new, here at the Timilty."
ReplyDeleteI think that this video is very cool and also very helpful
